Abstract: 

این مقاله به شبیه سازی آنتن های شکافدار میکرواستریپی اختصاص دارد. از آنجایی که این ساختارها دارای پهنای باند زیادی هستند، استفاده از روشهای حوزه زمان برای شبیه سازی آنها مناسب تر است. بهمین خاطر از روش ماتریس خط انتقال سه بعدی ((3D TLM)) برای شبیه سازی استفاده می گردد و برای محدود کردن فضای شبیه سازی از الگوریتم EPML- YLM استفاده می شود که در آن مرز جذبی PML مستقیما در الگوریتم TLM پیاده سازی شده است. در پایان نتایج شبیه سازی یک آنتن شکافدار میکرواستریپی خطی و یک آنتن شکافدار میکرواستریپی با پروفایل نمایی ارایه شده و نتایج با نتایج نرم افزارهای دیگر مقایسه شده است.

Abstract: 

A numerical study has been carried out on a new design of ejector diffuser (infrared suppression device). New design conceptualizes exploiting the shape of the slot openings. A circular arc is provided to guide the entrained fluid at the slot openings. Performance of guided-slot ejector diffuser (GED) has been compared with conventional (non-guided-slot) ejector diffuser (NGED) in terms of local and cumulative mass entrainment ratios, temperature distribution and static pressure recovery. Three slot-area variations are also studied, namely (i) increasing slot-area ranging 1 ≤ A0 ≤ 2. 02, ( 0A is area of 1st slot) (ii) constant slot-area A0 = 1 and (iii) decreasing slot-area ranging 0. 49 ≤ A0 ≤ 1. Simulations have been carried out at fixed Reynolds number Re = 1. 3  105. It is observed that GED has 3. 5% higher cumulative mass entrainment ratio than NGED. GED forms cold annulus region below ejector diffuser wall from 1st slot onwards which results in wall temperatures being close to ambient temperature (300 K). Higher mass entrainment rate and lower wall temperatures make GED a better infrared suppression device but static pressure recovery is better in NGED (Cp = 0. 79) compared to GED (Cp = 0. 43). Slot-area study reveals that the performance of increasing slot-area for GED and NGED is superior then constant and decreasing slot-area configurations. The cumulative mass entrainment is 20% higher while static pressure recovery is 45% more for the increasing slot-area GED when compared to the decreasing slot-area GED.

Abstract: 

Concrete shear walls are one of the main lateral resisting members in buildings. The functional requirements like architectural and even mechanical requirements entail that openings have to be installed in structural walls as well as floors. In this study, nonlinear static analysis was utilized to study the effects of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) on the ultimate load capacity of concrete shear walls with openings using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS. In order to verify the accuracy of the numerical model, a comparison was done between the results of experimental and numerical analysis of a concrete shear wall. Subsequent to verification of the Finite Element Model (FEM), the effects of creating cut-off openings as well as strengthening effects of applying FRP have been studied. Whereas the numerical results show good correlation between the FEM and the experimental results of reinforced concrete (RC) shear walls, the numerical analysis represents a remarkable improvement in ultimate lateral load capacity of shear wall with opening strengthened using fiber reinforced plastic. The results obtained are presented in relative diagrams and tables.

Abstract: 

Brackets and various arch-wires are used in fixed orthodontic appliances to apply forces to the teeth. The amino-acid glutamate is one neurotransmitter that has been discussed in the context of pain processing and has been linked to a variety of pain syndromes. This study aims to evaluate pain between Double slot orthodontic brackets versus single slot with a visual scale and a saliva biomarker (glutamate testing) and CRP. This randomized clinical trial (double-blind) was conducted in Dentistry/Howler Medical University. 41 patients (26 females and 16 males) aged of 18-23 years old with class II malocclusion were selected from patients seeking orthodontic treatment after proper diagnosing using digital cephalometry, OPG. The patients who were chosen randomly received either a single arch-wire (0.014 NiTi) or a double arch-wire (one 0,014 NiTi and the second 0.012 NiTi). Two saliva samples were prepared and analysed to measure glutamate and CRP and evaluate pain using the visual analogue scale. The mean visual scale was 4.38 in the two-wire group compared to the single-wire cases, which was 2.80 showing a significant difference (P ≤ 0.001). There was a significant statistical difference between glutamate after and before treatment for single and double-slot bracket cases. There was a significant difference in mean pain scores between two group with less pain in single wire with a Visual analogue scale, but there is an insignificant difference with saliva glutamate measurement. However, the levels of glutamate before and after applying force were significant in both groups.

Abstract: 

It has been proved that suitable slot structure of compressor slotted blade can generate high-momentum jet flow through pressure difference between the pressure and suction surface, the slot jet flow can reenergize the local low-momentum fluid to effectively eliminate the flow separation. In order to investigate and evaluate the impact of full-span slot and blade-end slot on the performance of the post-loaded blade, which has serious flow separation on the suction surface both near blade midspan and endwall, a diffusion stator cascade with large camber angle is selected as the research object. Firstly, the blade-end slotted scheme and the full-span slotted scheme are set up. Then the performance of datum cascade and two slotted cascades is computed in the wide incidence angle range of-8º to 6º at the Mach number of 0. 7, the corresponding blade-chord-based Reynolds number 〖Re〗_C is 7. 7×10^5. Finally, the performance of the three cascades is analyzed and compared. The results show that, in the computational incidence angle range, both of the two slotted schemes can reduce the total pressure loss for datum cascade and enhance its pressure diffusing capability. However, compared with the blade-end slot, the full-span slot has a better comprehensive control effect on the corner separation and the boundary layer separation near blade midspan, hence, compared with those of blade-end slotted cascade, the total pressure loss coefficients and the static pressure coefficients of full-span slotted cascade are respectively further decreased and increased. Under the blowing effect of full-span slot jet, the total pressure loss coefficients of datum cascade are significantly decreased, ranging as high as 21. 2%, 23. 1%, 24. 5% and 23. 4% under the incidence angles of 0°, 2°, 4° and 6°, respectively. The full-span slotted scheme has a better adaptability to wide incidence angle range, it can effectively broaden the available incidence angle range for datum cascade.

Abstract: 

Numerical study of hyperthermia was performed using a microwave slot antenna in the treatment of liver cancer. The modeling of the problem in Comsol software is done symmetrically and two-dimensionally and the electromagnetic equation is coupled with the biothermal transfer equation. Temperature distribution, cancer tissue destruction, microwave absorption in liver tissue and specific absorption rate (SAR) are presented as results. The results showed that the two-hole antenna has a wider distribution of the amount of microwave absorbed than the single-slot antenna. The SAR distribution along the longitudinal axis of the antennas gradually increases and reaches its maximum point where the slot is located, and then the SAR distribution decreases rapidly and reaches its minimum at the end of the antenna. According to the results, changes in temperature in liver tissue also depend on the type of antenna and penetration depth, and temperature distribution and SAR distribution have a similar trend. Also, single-slot antenna is suitable for elliptical tumors and double-slot antenna is suitable for spherical tumors.

Abstract: 

هدف: هدف از این تحقیق تعیین اثر سه روش مختلف Debonding بر بیس و ابعاد Wing های براکتهای فلزی سه شرکت معتبر تولید کننده براکت میباشد.مواد و روشها: تحقیق به روش تجربی صورت گرفت. تعداد 108 براکت استاندارد Edgewise، با slot 0.022 اینچ، بطور مساوی از سه شرکت (AO) American Orthodontics ، 3M Unitek و Dentaurum بر روی دندانهای پرمولر بالا و پایین که به جهت درمان ارتودنسی extract شده بودند، در گچ استون قرار داده شدند. در Slot نیمی از براکتها وایر روند 018/0 (به جهت ایجاد تشابه با مراحل پایانی درمان ارتودنسی) بوسیله Elastomeric module قرار داده شد. دندانها در آب 37 درجه سانتیگراد قرار داده شده و پس از 48 ساعت با سه روش جداسازی، براکتها در جهت مزیودیستالی، در جهت اکلوزوجینجیوالی و با اعمال نیرو بر یک wing از دندانها جدا گردیدند. برای اندازه گیری ابعاد براکتها قبل و بعد از جداسازی از استریومیکروسکوپ Olympus  با بزرگنمایی 20 × و نرم افزار Adobe photoshop کمک گرفته شد. تغییرات براکتها بطور ماکروسکوپیک و میکروسکوپیک (عرض slot، عمق slot و عرض براکت) مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. داده های بدست آمده با استفاده از آنالیز واریانس Multifactorial مورد قضاوت قرار گرفتند. در صورت مشاهده اختلاف آزمون LSD انجام شد.یافته ها: روش جدا کردن براکت از ناحیه بیس برای براکتهای مش دار شرکتهای AO و Dentaurum نسبتا آسیب زا بوده (21%) و تغییرات ایجاد شده در بیس، با چشم غیر مسلح قابل تشخیص بودند. میانگین عرض slot براکتها پس از جدا کردن از لحاظ کلینیکی افزایش قابل ملاحظه ای پیدا نکرد. در این میان براکتهای شرکت Dentaurum از دو شرکت دیگر بیشتر دچار تغییر شدند (P<0.01). البته این تغییرات همراه با افزایش عرض slot طی recycling باعث کاهش در Torque موثر براکتها (بین 14-0 درجه) خواهد شد. میانگین عرض براکتها نیز از نظر کلینیکی به میزان غیر قابل ملاحظه ای پس از جداسازی، کاهش یافته و این کاهش در براکتهای شرکت Dentaurum از دو شرکت دیگر بیشتر بوده (P < 0.01). بعلاوه روشهای جداسازی نیز در این مورد بر تنوع براکتها اثر داشته (P < 0.001)  بطوریکه براکتهای شرکت Dentaurum با روش جداسازی اکلوزوجینجیوالی بیشترین کاهش را در عرض خود نشان دادند. وجود سیم 018/0 اینچ روند در slot براکتها هنگام جداسازی نیز تاثیری بر تغییرات ایجاد شده در ابعاد براکت در هیچیک از شرکتها و روشهای جداسازی مختلف نداشت.نتیجه گیری: برای براکتهای مش دار شرکتهای AO و Dentaurum روشهای جداسازی براکت از wing مناسبتر بوده و در این میان روش اعمال نیروی 45 درجه در جهت اکلوزوجینجیوالی با تکیه بر سطح اکلوزالی دندان بهترین روش میباشد. برای براکتهای Integral  شرکت 3M Unitek روش جدا کردن براکت از بیس مطمئن ترین روش میباشد. در ضمن استفاده از پلایر LODI نیز برای براکتهای هر سه شرکت روش بسیار مناسبی میباشد.

Abstract: 

Purpose: This paper has examined the structure of the openings of the Qajarid domestic and forign correspondence. Methodology and Research Design. Archival records and library resources were examined to collect data for this paper. Findings and Conclusion: The structure of the introduction consisted of three parts: addressing, titles and prayers. Since the Qajarid period, the initiation of domestic and foreign officialcorrespondence, depending on the importance of the letter, became shorter. The prayer line was not used for domestic correspondence and only one tiitle was used for th eadrresee. With regard to foreign correspondence, prayer and complementary phrases were rarely used. The introduction to most of the Qajarid correspondence followed the Brotherhood principles.

Abstract: 

As the using of reinforced concrete shells structures with opening have many advantages that they permit to cover large area without using intermediate supports. They have light weights and require minimum amounts of material that it is required small thicknesses comparing to their spans. This investigation is carried out to study the efficiency of repair and strengthening of elliptical parablooid reinforced concrete shells, which loaded by four concentrated loads at the center of the opening. An experimental program of several different techniques in repair and strengthening is executed. The materials, which are considered for strengthening, are; Glass fiber reinforced polymers GFRP at different position of the shell bottom surface, steel strip and external tie. The initial and failure loads as well as the crack propagation for the tested shells at different loading stages, deflections and failure load for repaired and shells are recorded. A non-linear computer program based on finite element techniques is used to study the behavior of these types of shells. Geometric and materials nonlinearities are considered in the analysis. The efficiency and accuracy of computer program are verified by comparing the program results with those obtained experimentally for the control shell with opening and strengthened shells.
